CHHAING Marong

Research Associate

Ms. CHHAING Marong holds a master’s degree in Social Policy from Korea University, South Korea. Her master’s degree gave her an insight into the policy of Korean society, social theories and social analysis methods. She has also mastered the Korean language at level 4 as part of her master’s degree. Prior to her graduated studies, she completed a bachelor’s degree in sociology at the Royal University of Phnom Penh and a general English program at Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia. Marong joined CDRI, the Center for Policy Research in Agriculture and Rural Development, as an intern in July 2016. She was then selected as a research assistant for the Center for Natural Resources and Environment. She now works as a research associate for the CDRI at the same center. Her research interests include gender equality in climate change and climate change and migration. Some of her publications can be found below.
